Responsible for the HMI (Human Machine Interface) for the Asia Pacific Region. Specific responsibilities will include: ?Manage the creation of Global User Interface designs and specifications for digital components, such as clusters and center stack infotainment systems that are designed and released in the Asia Pacific region. ?Through research, understand the customer expectations for the vehicle cockpit controls and displays for the Asia Pacific markets. ?Guide the line-up of HMI displays and controls including the identification of all new features and interactions that impact digital displays for all programs developed in the Asian Pacific region. ?Identify and track all open issues to ensure specification and design deliverables against program timing are met. ?Manage extensive verification testing of the developed components and prototypes to validate implementation. ?Manage all language requirements in the digital components for the Asia Pacific region.
Qualifications Required ?Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Ergonomics, Interaction Design or equivalent. OR ?Master’s degree in Engineering, Ergonomics, Interaction Design or equivalent. Essential Skills Required ?Capable of working in a cross-functional and global role ?Strong written and oral skills ?Self-directed, confident individual with excellent personal communication skills and ability to speak in front of large groups and present to high level management ?Experience with Driver information and Infotainment systems ?Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word and other Ford applications ?Experience with Qt, Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator, Photoshop or equivalent preferred ?Familiarity with Ford Development Milestones Employment Experience Required ?5+ years of experience in HMI / HCI development, design and research.
